Binding Spell
A binding spell is used to stop the effects of someone's negativity or antics impacting you or someone else.
You will need
Photo of the person
Pen ideally black ink
Black thread or string
The photo needs to be the most recent up to date one you can get. If you can't get an image you can use a paper poppet or a peace of paper with their full name and date of birth (if known) written on it.
The spell
On the back of the photo write down the full name that the person currently uses.
Focus on the what they have done that angers you and say these things out loud to the photo
Turn the image over and underneath the name write down all of these things.
Turn the image anti-clockwise (so away from you) and sign your name over what you have written. (The same you would do when writing a petition)
Fold the image in half, making sure to fold away from you so that the image is on the inside
Turn the folded image anti-clockwise, away from you, and start to roll it as tight as you can, making sure to focus all of your anger into binding that person. As you do this you can say something like “(name) I binding your negativity so that it will never hurt me or anyone else ever again”
Once the image is rolled its now time to binding it with the black thread. Starting from one side of the rolled up image tightly wrap the thread around it until you reach the other end. As you do this you can repeat your chant or you could say another chant and end it with I bind your negativity, I bind you, I bind you, I bind you.
You can wrap the thread around as much as you see fit and you can incorporate knot magic into this if you wish.
Once the binding is done, place it somewhere dark where it won't be disturbed.
Things to note -
Bindings can loosen over time so if you see their actions starting back up you will need to add more or redo the binding.
To undo a binding
To undo a binding you can either burn it or just simply unravel the binding from the image, make sure to cleanse the paper the throw away.
